The New York Rangers lost to the Washington Capitals by the score of 3-2 in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference Quarterfinals matchup. The series is tied at 2-2. For a recap and box score go to Yahoo! Sports.

...well that was a great game until the referees felt they needed to determine the outcome. Absolutely boggles my mind that officiating at the NHL level can be this deficient. That entire crew should never work another NHL game again. My wife is lucky there are three kids in the house because there would be at least five holes in the walls right now. Furious.

...having said that, the Rangers really didn't deserve to win this game after giving one of the weakest offensive games in playoff history.

...let's hope today wasn't the real "career defining" game for Lundqvist.

...you knew Kreider was eventually going to have one of these games, but for Torts to only play him seven minutes is a joke and an insult to the rest of the team.

...man, you'd love to see Anisimov give that kind of effort more often. Still needs to hit the weights though.

...hope no one thinks Ovechkin is actually going to be suspended because in the NHL a star player making an illegal hit to the head = no suspension.

...just 21 minutes for McDonagh? He must have been ready to run a marathon after this one.

...Gaborik starting to heat up should have every Rangers fan feeling good going forward in this series.

...another Del Zotto shot was just blocked.

...has Prust been a healthy scratch in this series?

...seven minutes for Bickel? Someone get him a respirator.

...for as good as Stralman was against Ottawa is as bad as he's been in this series. That early penalty set the tone for the game.

...unusually quiet game for Callahan. You know, minus the refs not detecting him being pulled down on the penalty kill that led to the Capitals winning goal.

...having said all that, series is still tied with the Rangers holding home ice advantage which is always a good spot to be in.

...off tomorrow then Game 5 at MSG on Monday.
