After the Devils announced the disbanding of the Trenton Devils back in July, they were left without an ECHL affiliate. This evening though, the Devils have announced an official partnership with the Kalamazoo Wings. Kalamazoo, who is also the ECHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, will also be the affiliate of the Albany Devils as well. Last season, Kalamazoo clinched the North Division with a record of 40-24-2. The Wings made it to the Kelly Cup finals, where they faced off against the Alaska Aces. They lost the series 4-1.
