The Anaheim Ducks have signed right wing Troy Bodie to a one-year contract. Bodie was expected to report to the Ducks' AHL affiliate in Syracuse on Wednesday. Bodie went to training camp with the Winnipeg Jets, scoring one goal in four preseason games. After making his NHL debut with the Ducks in January 2009, Bodie began last season with Anaheim, but was claimed on waivers by Carolina on Nov.

Zack Stortini waived; Brian McGrattan claimed

According to TSN's Bob McKenzie, the Predators have placed Zack Stortini on waivers with the intent of sending him to Milwaukee.
