Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Braydon Coburn will return to the ice for Wednesday's game against the Atlantic Division rival New York Islanders.
Coburn bruised his kidney during Saturday's contest versus the Winnipeg Jets. He sat out Monday's loss to the Carolina Hurricanes.
The blue-liner has four points and 24 penalty minutes in 19 games this season.
