The Philadelphia Flyers unveiled their jersey for the 2012 Winter Classic in Philadelphia earlier today. I have to be completely honest here, and the Flyers are by far my most hated team in the NHL, but these jerseys aren't half bad. They give off that vintage look that I think the Winter Classic tries to encapsulate plus they are original. My hope is that the Rangers will take a similar approach with their Winter Classic jersey.
Speaking of which, according to Andrew Gross, the Rangers could unveil their design as soon as next week. Everything you've seen online and even at Madison Square Garden is not authentic. I don't know where all of these fake sweaters have come from, but that's all they are - fakes. The official design is supposed to be re...

Bill Meltzer: Meltzer's Musings: 11/20/11
Every team has to have an identity. So far, the identity of the 2011-12 Philadelphia Flyers seems to be that of a club that rarely does anything halfway. When they come ready to work, they play at a very high level. When they play a clunker, it's absolutely horrid.
There is something about playing Winnipeg that seems to bring out the worst in the Flyers. Philly has now dropped...

Rangers Embark on Tough Stretch
No one expected the Rangers to win-out the rest of the season. That’s just a silly thought. But during their seven-game winning streak, which was snapped when they put up a clunker against the Montreal Canadiens, the Rangers showed signs of regaining the form that has made them succeed in the past. When their streak [...]
