(Mark Humphrey/AP) The Predators look for revenge tonight as they take on St. Louis for the third time this season. St. Louis took the first two meetings, taking the first game to a shoot-out and winning the second game with a convincing 3-0. The Blues will be without starting goalie Halak, but Elliott is one of the best "back ups" in the league. So far this season he has split time evenly with Halak.  Nashville has won their last two games, including their best performance of the season against the Sharks on Saturday. They will be hoping to channel that energy again in their visit to St. Louis.  TV/Radio Coverage Nashville: Fox Sports Tennessee and 102.5 The Game St. Louis: Fox Sports Midwest and KMOX 1120 AM Season Series Date Away Home Result 1/21 St. Louis Nashville 4-3 (SO) STL 1/24 Nashville St.Louis 3-0 STL Line Up News Starting Goaltenders: Name W L OT GAA SV% #35 Pekka Rinne 2 2 3 2.16 9.15 #31 Brian Elliott 3 2 0 2.34 .900 Projected Nashville Scratches: #7 D Jonathon Blum, #23 W Brian McGrattan and #27 W Patric Hornqvist (out; lower body) Projected St. Louis Scratches: I. The Predators played their hardest game of the season against San Jose, with many players looking completely re-born from their earlier games. Rinne was amazing and will need to be amazing again, not just for our team, but for him as well. The goalie had terrible defense and got blasted in the KHL, another great game tonight will get his confidence where it needs to be.  Smith, Hannan, Josi and Yip are other players who are in top form right now. Hannan has been off the hook since Trotz juggled the defensive pairings against Los Angeles on Thursday. He is playing career high minutes alongside Weber. Smith is also rebounding nicely after a less than ideal start for him. Blues: Unbelievably, St. Louis hasn't played a game since Friday night, where they lost, for only the second time this season,5-3 to Detroit. The rested Blues will be ready to bounce back against a fatigued Nashville who is half way through their longest road trip of the season.  Starting Goalie Jaroslav Halak's injury couldn't have happened to a better team (I mean that in the nicest way possible) as St. Louis's goaltending depth is phenomenal. Elliott will take to the net during the injury, with Rookie Jake Allen potentially getting a game down the stretch. Elliott is probably a top 20 league goalie and was very hot during last year's playoffs.  Predators fans will also get to one again dread rookie sensation Vladimir Taresenko, as the speedy near-perfect Winger claimed Rookie of the month on Monday (to no one's surprise). He leads the team in points with 5 goals and 5 assists. The worst part is that he is a second line winger and will often be lined up against Josi and Klein as opposed to Weber and Hannan.
