On Saturday night Columbus Blue Jackets forward Jared Boll and Minnesota Wild defenseman Clayton Stoner went at it in a rematch of their tilt from January 29th.  The last time these two heavyweights fought it was a solid draw, but this time Boll (6’3″ 195 lbs) destroyed Stoner (6’4″ 228 lbs).  Boll must really hate Stoner because he broke the unspoken code that you don’t throw punches at a guy once he is down, but Boll didn’t hold back once Stoner dropped to his knees.  I’m not sure what took the linesman so long to break up this one-sided fight. Wild point-producers positive despite pressure

ST. PAUL, Minn. The good news from Saturday's game is the Minnesota Wild finally scored, and scored in a crucial moment. The bad news? Charlies Coyle's night lasted a grand total of 17 seconds and he was thrown out of the game for what appears to be a legal shoulder-to-shoulder hit on Blue Jackets forward Artem Anisimov. Pominville's 2-goal night propels Wild to 4-3 win in Calgary

Today has been one of those weird days.  Actually, not just today, it's been several weird days.  Normally, I work my customer service job from home.  I love it, and even better it saves me a lot of money on gas.  Yet, starting last week, the computer my employer provides decided it was going to go on the fritz.  I was told that a new computer would be in my home...

Desperate Wild look to regroup vs. Columbus

The Minnesota Wild are searching for offense, and now they are unsure of the status of the defenseman who leads all NHL skaters in ice time. The Wild have been shut out in three of four games and do not know if Ryan Suter will be available for Saturday night's home matchup with the Columbus Blue Jackets. Suter played a season-low 15:35 in Minnesota's second straight shutout...

Wild come up short in 3-2 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets

"Like sand through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives" which is the intro to the famous NBC soap opera.  Its amazing how much an NHL season can be like a soap opera minus the love triangles.  There are disappointments, betrayal, happiness and times of sorrow.  For the Minnesota Wild they've had more then their fair amount of drama as they've had to replace...
