Jaromir Jagr is once again looking for a new team. A report from Fluto Shinzawa, the Boston Bruins beat reporter for the Boston Globe, indicates that Jagr will not return to Boston in 2013-14. This report has been confirmed by Boston GM Peter Chiarelli. Despite the fact Boston has no intention of bringing Jagr back, that doesn't mean they were unhappy with the veteran's contributions following the trade which brought him in from Dallas. Chiarelli was pleased with what Jagr brought to the table even though his asset was held scoreless throughout the duration of the playoffs.  Jagr reportedly has no intention of hanging up his skates which means we're left asking a familiar question: Where will Jagr play next season?  Clearly, Jagr is trying to play for each and every Eastern Conference team before his playing days are over. Five down, 11 to go! We're betting Jagr wasn't pleased that his task was made more difficult due to Detroit and Columbus shifting over to the East. But seriously, it's really anyone's guess where Jagr will skate in 2013-14. He's coming off of a one-year, $4.5 million contract. He proved he still has plenty left in the tank, scoring 16 goals and 19 assists between the Dallas Star and Boston Bruins. Jagr appeared a step slowing in the playoffs, but that wasn't totally unexpected considering 1) Jagr is 41, 2) a deep playoff run takes a toll on every player and 3) Jagr spent the lockout playing in the Czech Extraliga, adding 34 games to his already heavy workload.  It's safe to assume that several teams might be interested in Jagr's services, especially considering his leadership and work ethic on the ice. However, some clubs might balk at paying Jagr at or above his $4.5 million salary from 2013, especially considering the lower salary cap. Jagr should have no issue finding a new team, but as to who that might be or how much they might pay him is open for debate. Did anyone think Jagr would sign with the Dallas Stars prior to the start of this season? Probably not, which is why predicting Jagr's future movements is nearly impossible. We'd love to see him in a new and unexpected market in 2013-14, but it still seems likely that he'll be in the East.  [follow]
