Pro Sports Daily:
Winnipeg Jets defenseman Zach Bogosian may receive a call from the NHL after his brutal hit on Andreas Nodl of the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday.
Bogosian left his feet to lower the boom on Nodl during the second period. He was given a five-minute major for charging and a game misconduct, while Nodl did not return in Carolina's 4-3 victory over Winnipeg.
The third overall pick of the 2008 draft, Bogosian had just returned to the ice after missing five contests and 12 of 13 with a lower body injury.
Bogosian, 21, has collected three goals, 19 assists and 66 penalty minutes in 55 contests this season.

Currently in 9th place, the Jets still have a decent shot at advancing to the postseason and I’m fairly certain that the entire city of Winnipeg would lose their sh*t if they could pull it off. While most hockey fans...

Over the last three games, the Canes have outscored their opponents 6-0 in the third period and have comeback wins in two of those games, as well. What is even more encouraging is...
Ryan [Lambert], from Puck Daddy, thinks Malkin should win the Hart.
Winnipeg Jets fans are getting carried away with chants. They chanted "Jordan's better" at his brother Eric last night. Oh and the Hurricanes are only five points out of the playoffs. [PHT]

The recepient of the hit, Andreas Nodl, lef the ice slowly and groggy.
