Found September 17, 2013 on Fantasy Sports Locker Room:

Jonathan Drouin, LW, Tampa Bay Lightning Days after draft day, Jonathan Drouin and Nathan MacKinnon had their fantasy value discussed inside the locker room and we still feel the same.Drouin has by far the highest fantasy ceiling of all the 2013-14 rookies this season. The possibility of Drouin playing alongside Steven Stamkos and Martin St. Louis is reason enough to invest in the third overall pick from this year’s draft. The thought of playing with a sniper in Stamkos and last year’s Art Ross winner in St. Louis puts him at number one at our rookie ranks. Of course, it isn’t set in stone that Drouin will skate on the Lightning’s top line as the 18-year-old opened up camp playing center, something Lightning coach Jon Cooper said they’ll experiment with as time goes on. Drouin led the Halifax Mooseheads with 41 goals and 105 points last season on route to a Memorial Cup championship while taking home QMJHL and CHL MVP honours. He finished five points behind Ben Duffy for the QMJHL league lead, but he also played 19 less games than Duffy. Drouin also led the playoffs in points with 35 in 17 games and his nine points in four Memorial Cup games was over shadowed by line-mate Nathan MacKinnon and his seven goals and 13 points in as many games (Yeah… the two can score at will). If Drouin doesn’t find himself on the top line on opening day it’s only a matter of time before he plays himself on it. He will no doubt enter camp as a top six forward and should stay there throughout the season. Drouin has a great offensive mind, with fantastic puck awareness and great hockey vision. He is a pure playmaker with gifted hands and we all know how much Stamkos likes to set up shop at the top of the circle – Drouin will find him more times than not. Worst case, Drouin is used on the second line and see’s powerplay time on the number one unit. Start thinking about him in the 7th to 10th round of fantasy drafts and even earlier in dynasty leagues.   2. Nathan MacKinnon, C, Colorado Avalanche Yes, Nathan MacKinnon was the No. 1 selection in this year’s NHL draft, but he doesn’t find himself in as nice of a situation as his former teammate Jonathan Drouin, at least not from a fantasy perspective. Colorado already has Matt Duchene centering its first line and Paul Stastny down the middle on the second. With a full season of Gabriel Landeskog, Ryan O’Reilly and the addition of Alex Tanguay, things are pretty tight on the wing...

Lightning have quick-strike offense, but now focus on D

TAMPA, Fla. -- Two power names, one imbalance. A pair of sure-fire producers, one reason their impact didn't go as far as it should. First, some math. The league's two top points producers (center Steven Stamkos and winger Marty St. Louis) the league's assist leader (St. Louis) the league's second-highest goal scorer (Stamkos) should equal a playoff contender....

Michael Stuart: Lightning to Open Preseason in Orlando Against the St. Louis Blues
