Tyler Seguin-Loui Eriksson Trade Good Place to Start, But Bruins Must Remain Active in Free Agency

So much for taking it easy on the Fourth of July. While most Bostonians were lounging by the beach or hanging out at a cookout with a cold one, Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli and Co. were busy engineering the biggest blockbuster trade of the NHL offseason thus far. That deal sent Tyler Seguin, once considered the key to the B’s future, and third-line grinder Rich Peverley to...

Patrice Bergeron Says He Has No Regrets After Playing Through Serious Injuries in Stanley Cup Final

Boston Looking For A Replacement For Nathan Horton

from Joe Haggerty of CSNNE, So Horton is likely moving on to a locale like Florida or Tampa where he can play in relative anonymity after seeing how the other half live for three years in Boston. That leaves the Bruins looking for a replacement to step into a first-line right-wing role alongside Milan Lucic and David Krejci, a spot that’s pretty critical to Boston’s overall...

A Look Back At Our Favorite Andrew Ference Photoshops

Since we never gave Andrew Ference a proper goodbye, that is what we'll do now. So we say goodbye to you, Captain Planet, and hope that wherever you land, you know that you will always have a home in Boston. ...

Cam Neely wants to reprise his role as Sea Bass in Dumb and Dumber To

Time for some pop culture news. The sequel to Dumb and Dumber has the green light and the script is currently being developed. The sequel, Dumb and Dumber To, will once again feature everyone's favorite morons Lloyd (Jim Carey) and Harry (Jeff Daniels) some 20 years after we were first introduced to them in 1994.  Why are we talking about this on a hockey blog? Because...

Boston Bruins: Boston and Dallas make blockbuster trade

Two weeks ago, Boston sports were basically given the death sentence. The Boston Bruins lose a heartbreaker to the Blackhawks, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett were traded, Ray Allen wins a championship in a Heat uniform, and then of course Aaron Hernandez disappoints millions with his actions. Since then the tables have turned drastically, as the Celtics hire a great, young coach in...
