Merrimack had a lot to be proud of last season. Behind sophomore standout Stephane Da Costa, the Warriors marched into the Hockey East finals and qualified for the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1988. With Da Costa moving on to play for the Ottawa Senators this season, the rest of the team is looking to prove they can still compete with the best teams in the country. Head coach Mark Dennehy lays out the reasons you shouldn't sleep on his team this season in the video above.

The Ottawa Senators will debut their 20th season with little to celebrate and a lot to hope for; a consensus dead last pick in the Eastern conference prediction polls by all the major sports media, very little is expected of this team. The focus is not on wins in Ottawa this year, but on potential for the future in the form of a new coaching staff and rookies full of promise.
I imagine it’s pretty damned difficult to see where you’re going in a mascot costume, let alone navigate the narrow stairs of a sports arena.
