Pekka Rinne provides an update on his recovery from hip surgery: “I’m feeling good and everything is going well, in the right direction. I’m still progressing, lot of rehab, still in rehab mode. My leg feels stronger every day.”
Nashville Predators’ center Mike Fisher and his country star wife Carrie Underwood got into a dust-up with a chipmunk that invaded their home. Fisher was able to capture the little critter, but not without injury. The chipmunk sunk its teeth into Fisher’s hand and gave him a battle wound to remember him by.

The Nashville Predators will open up the 2013 training camp Wednesday, September 11 when all players are set to report with the team for meetings and physical testing. Camp will last a total of three weeks until September 30, the day before the NHL regular season begins.
