The Morning After:
Yesterday’s results:
Coyotes 5, Ducks 4
Predictions record: 0-1

RLD 3 stars of the night:
1. Martin Hanzal, PHX (2 goals)
2. Keith Yandle, PHX (1 goal, 1 assist)
3. Ryan Getzlaf, ANA (2 goals)

Tonight’s slate:
Maple Leafs @ Flyers, 7:00 ET
Panthers @ Canadiens, 7:30
Rangers @ Jets, 8:30

Game of the night:
Toronto Maple Leafs (5-1-1) @ Philadelphia Flyers (4-2-1)
7:00 ET… TV: Local Networks

Players to watch:
TOR- Joffrey Lupul
Lupul, who has been overshadowed thus far by Phil Kessel, faces his former team in this one.
PHI- James van Riemsdyk
JVR hasn’t lived up to expectations early on; the Flyers need more from him.

Starting goaltenders:
TOR- Jonas Gustavsson (2011-12 stats: 1-1-0, 5.33 GAA)
PHI- Ilya Bryzgalov (2011-12 stats: 3-2-1, 2.85 GAA)

Injury report:
TOR- James Reimer (head, doubtful), Colby Armstrong (ankle, out), Tim Connolly (upper body, out)
PHI- Blair Betts (knee, out), Ian Laperriere (head, out)

Game thoughts:
Toronto, who will likely be without James Reimer, will be put to the test tonight as they travel to Philadelphia to take on Ilya Bryzgalov and company. The Leafs have had some dramatic wins recently, while the Flyers have dropped two straight on home ice. With the ‘Monster’ in net for the Leafs, I think you have to take Philly here. They’ll be eager to bounce back and get two points.
Prediction: Flyers 4, Maple Leafs 2

The rest of today’s predictions:
Canadiens over Panthers
Rangers over Jets
