NHL and NHLPA Meeting Last Seven Hours

Through all the presidential election chaos, you might not of realized that the NHL and NHLPA met for about seven hours today. The meeting began at 3p.m. and ended around 10:15p.m. Due to the fact the meeting recessed so late, The NHLPA said it would not be available for media tonight. According to Dan Rosen, Bill Daly left saying "Collective bargaining negotiations between the NHL and representatives of the NHLPA recessed tonight at 10:15 pm with meetings scheduled to resume Wed., the League will not characterize the substance or detail of the discussions until their conclusion." So, neither the NHL and the NHLPA will give us the status of their discussions. Both sides have confirmed that there is another meeting schedule for tomorrow, but neither stated an exact start time. Yes, the two sides meeting for long periods of time is a good thing, but I suggest you don't read too much into it since we really do not know where they are in their discussions. Updates to foll...
