The Pittsburgh Penguins just announced that they have made a trade with the San Jose Sharks 10 minutes before the start of the NHL Draft. The Sharks have acquired forward Tyler Kennedy in exchange for the 50th overall pick in the draft. The Penguins now have a second round pick, which is their highest one so far this year.
The Sharks went blue line with their first pick in the 2013 Draft on Sunday when they selected Swiss defenseman Mirco “I’m probably going to be called Marco a lot” Mueller with the 18th overall selection.
