With the NHL lockout still raging on, I’m being forced to dig through KHL highlights to get my fix of hockey so far this fall. Hell, I even had to order a Russian Rosetta Stone so I can understand what the hell the announcers are saying.

Anyways, the KHL has its fair share of solid hockey talent…many past (and now present) NHLers occupy spots on rosters in the league, including former Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Rangers, and Philadelphia Flyers forward  Nikolay Zherdev, who last saw NHL action in 2011.

Zherdev scored this beautiful goal thanks to a filthy between-the-legs deke in a recent game for the Atlant Moscow Oblast, the KHL team he now captains. Check out the awesome score below and get depressed that you may not be seeing anything that pretty in NHL action this season.
