Before this season the most wins any Predators goaltender had accumulated in a season was 36, done by Tomas Vokoun in the 2005-06 season. That total was surpassed last night by Pekka Rinne, who made 15 saves in a 4-2 victory against Colorado.“I think that is a stat that you respect and appreciate,” Rinne said after the game. “It’s for me as an individual, but it’s also a team stat. That’s the biggest individual or team stat as there is. It’s nice, but there’s a lot more hockey to be played.“I think you’d be lying if you said you didn’t care about stats. Obviously you do and you try to make sure any given night you give your team a chance to win.”In the record-setting win, Rinne didn’t have as much of a workload as he usually likes. He only faced 17 shots, tied for the fewest he has seen in a full game this season. The Predators did a good job of preserving the one-goal lead throughout the third period and limiting Colorado’s chances. Their best chance came with 9:11 remaining
