Patrice Bergeron was apparently injured in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final, but the severity of it was unknown as he sat out for much of the second period. Now, it appears that Bergeron was seriously enough hurt that he required some additional attention. According to the B’s, Bergeron left the United Center via ambulance. He will be taken for observation at a nearby hospital. Update: Patrice Bergeron has been taken to a local hospital in Chicago for observation.
