Just forty-eight hours after the NHL held its own version of Black Monday, the musical chairs within the coaching fraternity resumed. When the music stopped this time, Bruce Boudreau wasn’t the odd man out.Now-former Ducks head coach Randy Carlyle was fired following his team’s 4-1 win over Montreal on Wednesday. According to a report, Boudreau is already in town.
Montreal Canadiens left wing Max Pacioretty has been suspended for three games following his hit on Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang.
