Rangers prospects J.T. Miller, Steven Fogarty and Brady Skjei were not on the list of 11 cuts announced by Team USA this morning.

Team USA split a pair of games yesterday as the Blue team defeated Finland 5-4, while the White team lost to Sweden 5-1.

Despite the Blue team's loss to Sweden, Chris Peters at the United States of Hockey says Miller had a solid game...

"The lone returning forward from last year's WJC team, Miller showed why he's going to be a key to the team in the World Juniors this year. The maturity in his game from last summer to this summer is prevalent. Miller showed great poise with the puck, using his body when he needed to, but keeping his eye on his outlets. He's really good at working plays from the half wall and allowing things to develop in front of him. Miller has good speed and strength. He's shown great vision and confidence in all zones. Another solid effort today."

...i may be getting ahead if myself but if the Rangers don't make another move, that open spot on the line-up is Miller's to lose.

Skjei picked up an assist in the Blue team's victory.

Was surprised this morning to see Fogarty made the cut after seeing this tweet by Peters last night...

Don't think his chances are good. Not sure how many Fs they're keeping yet. Probably 13ish #NJEC RT @nyrs_rangers Does Fogarty make the cut?

...while it looks like Miller's a lock to make the team, even if Fogarty and Skjei are eventually cut, the experience and confidence they'll receive from moving on will only benefit there development.
