The Boston Bruins have earned victories in a variety of ways during their winning streak, from the simple blowout to one-goal nail-biters to come-from-behind thrillers. It won't matter to them how they solve the Detroit Red Wings, just as long as they come out on top. Boston seeks its first 11-game winning streak in more than 40 years while looking to end a three-game skid against Detroit on Friday afternoon at TD Garden. The Bruins (13-7-0) have seemed to put their slow start behind them by scoring at least four goals seven times during their streak. They've won by at least three goals five times and have won four one-goal contests. Boston continued its streak with a 4-3 shootout win over Buffalo on Wednesday, rallying from deficits of 2-0 and 3-1. Tyler Seguin scored his team-leading 12th goal and added an assist, while Tim Thomas - who was coming off shutouts in his last two starts - won for the seventh time during the streak. He has a 1.55 goals-against average duri...

Did Patrice Bergeron, Chris Kelly or Andrew Ference Score the Captain Morgan Goal of the Week?

The Bruins have climbed their way out of the bottom of the conference in exciting fashion. Thanks to goals from just about anyone and everyone rocking the black and gold, the B's have proven that their early season woes were indeed a Stanley Cup hangover. In three straight wins over the Blue Jackets, Islanders and Canadiens, the B's were able to outscore opponents 8-1. Check...

Tyler Seguin's Hard Work Reflected in His Increasingly Powerful, Accurate Shot

Tyler Seguin's goal on a one-timer on Wednesday night in Buffalo could trick you into believing he was born a natural sniper. But NESN's Jack Edwards pointed out that that's not the case. Instead, Seguin's increasingly powerful and accurate shot can be attributed to his hard work. If his shot continues to improve, the sky is the limit for the 19-year-old, as he already...

Daniel Paille Flashes Old Form As Bruins Forward Finds His Game Again Against Red Wings

BOSTON -- It's been a long road back for Daniel Paille since a slap shot to the face sidelined him early this month. Paille missed just three games after surgery to repair a broken nose. But while he returned to game action just 10 days after the frightening incident, his game has taken a little longer to return to its pre-injury form. Friday afternoon against the Red Wings didn...

Red Wings, Bruins blooper real from intros

Milan Lucic and Todd Bertuzzi were chosen by NBC to introduce their lines during Friday's Thanksgiving Showdown between the Bruins and the Red Wings. They eventually got through it just fine, but it took a couple of tries for each to smoothly get through the ordeal. Lucic had some trouble remembering where Nathan Horton was from, while Bertuzzi had some diffculty pronoucing ...

Bruins' Streak Snapped by Red Wings, But Strong Showing in Shootout Loss Shows How Far Boston Has Come

BOSTON -- When the Bruins last faced the Red Wings back in February, they were no match for the highly-skilled and speedy Detroit lineup, which swept a home-and-home series with Boston by a combined 10-3 count. Those matchups showed the Bruins just how far they were from their goal, but Boston applied the lessons learned on that bitter weekend during their run to the Stanley Cup...

Gameday "Fight Night" Poster: "Lucic vs. Miller"

Couldn't avoid him my ass. Today's gameday movie poster is a little different.  Milan Lucic took an unnecessary, vicious run on Ryan Miller, leaving him down and out.  The Sabres couldn't exact revenge.   Now it's up to little brother Drew.  It's going to be a fight to the finish. Click the jump for the ticket. The Battle of Beantown is brought to you...

Zdeno Chara vs Robyn Regehr

This is probably the under card for tonight's game between the Boston Bruins and the Buffalo Sabres. The Bruins captain Zdeno Chara fights Robyn Regehr after a scrum behind the Boston Bruins net. I am going to score the win in Chara's favor as well.

Recap: Buffalo vs. Boston

Benoit Pouliot scored in the fifth round of a shootout, and the Boston Bruins won their 10th straight game Wednesday night, rallying from behind to beat the Buffalo Sabres 4-3.

B’s rally to top Sabres

BUFFALO -- The Bruins rallied from 2-0 and 3-1 deficits against the fired-up Buffalo Sabres, tying tonight's game 3-3 via goals from Tyler Seguin, Brad Marchand and Zdeno Chara. They then won it, 4-3, when Benoit Pouliot, the 10th shooter of the shootout, was the lone scorer. With his game-winning ...
