Boston Bruins president Cam Neely is no stranger to being in front of a camera, and he’s reportedly returned to the acting game. Whether he makes the cut, however, is yet to be scene. Neely did indeed film a scene for “Dumb And Dumber To,” the sequel to the wildly popular original that was released in 1994, according to the Boston Herald’s Jen Royle. What’s unclear at this point, though, is whether Neely’s scene will make the cut. Breaking news: Cam Neely told me he DID tape a scene for Dumb And Dumber 2... but will it make the final cut? Sea Bass Lives!— Jen Royle (@Jen_Royle) June 11, 2014 Neely appeared in the first version of the Farrelly Brothers movie alongside Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels as truck stop tough guy “Sea Bass.” Neely’s scene is one of the film’s funnier ones, especially for New England sports fans. The hockey Hall of Famer hasn’t said much about the sequel and his potential role in the movie. Reports surfaced early in the production of the sequel that Neely and even Bruins forward Milan Lucic would make appearances. Both quickly shot that down, and Neely reiterated that throughout the hockey season. He flat-out denied any role in the movie during his weekly radio appearance on 98.5 The Sports Hub back in November. However, that appears that might not be the case now. In addition to this new report, Neely is also listed on the movie’s IMDB page. The trailer for the sequel was released Tuesday night, and there was no sign of Neely in the clip.Filed under: Boston Bruins, Entertainment, Mike Cole, Top Stories
