The San Jose Sharks acquired left wing Tim Kennedy from the Florida Panthers on Thursday for defenseman Sean Sullivan. Kennedy has collected a goal and an assist in 27 games with the Panthers this season. The 25-year-old Kennedy has 11 goals, 18 assists and 54 penalty minutes during his NHL career. Sullivan has yet to play in an NHL contest. The 27-year-old Boston native has recorded five goals and 19 assists in 32 games with Worcester of the American Hockey League.
