I'm still not worried. Is that bad? Is that normal? I mean, it's me we're talking about. I'm Mr. ******* Negative when it comes to stuff like this and I'm not worried about Boston chances in the next game (or the two after that, should it come to two). Why? It took Chicago's best game of the series and Boston's worst game of the series - and overtime - for Chicago to put the Bruins away.  Chara will not be that bad.  Seidenberg will not be that bad. Seriously.  Boston scored 5 goals on Crawford in a game where their defense was gone. Non-existant type of **** going on.  Boston has turned into a well rounded hockey team that can win with offense, defense or on special teams - short handed goals from the other night excluded.  Seriously, a short handed goal. Go **** your face.  I expect a much better game from Boston in Game 5. Maybe there was a lack of desperation coming from them. ****, maybe they're just tired. Who know...

Milan Lucic Wants to Follow Cam Neely, Asks Bobby Farrelly to Play ‘Son of Sea Bass’ in ‘Dumb & Dumber’ Sequel (Video)

Over the last 24 hours, the prospects for the sequel to Dumb & Dumber just improved dramatically, as Jim Carrey reportedly signed on to the project. The movie maintains a strong cult status among fans of slapstick humor, but it also has a place among Bruins lore, too. Of course, now-Bruins president Cam Neely had a cameo in the film playing Sea Bass, the ornery local who has...

Bruins coach Claude Julien morphs into King of the Hill’s Bill Dauterive (GIF)

Sure, “King of the Hill” may not have been Mike Judge’s finest work, but it was a sweet show that had a surprisingly long run on FOX and is a viable option for late-night viewing entertainment if you cannot find something else to watch. Perhaps the finest character on the show is Bill Dauterive. Born [...]The post Bruins coach Claude Julien morphs into King of the Hill’s...

Bruins, Blackhawks Slowly Building Up Animosity, But Hate Remaining Below Canucks-Like Levels (Video)

The Bruins and Blackhawks are developing a healthy dislike for each other, but after all, that’s to be expected. You’d be hard-pressed not to start hating the guys lining up across from you game after hard-fought game, so this year’s Stanley Cup Final is nothing different. Compared to Boston’s last trip to the Cup Final, however, this is relatively nothing. NESN Nation...

Patrick Kane mic’d up for Brent Seabrook’s Game 4 OT Winner

Ok so either everyone on the ice is mic’d up or the NHL has the best luck ever.  This is the third time that the series has gone to overtime, and this is the third time that the mic’d up player was involved in the game-winning goal.  Andrew Shaw was mic’d up when he scored the game-winner in Game 1, Tyler Seguin was mic’d up when he assited on the game-winner in Game 2...

Bruins have big fan in Ray Charles, the blind golden retriever

I'm sure that Ray Charles will be tuned in to Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals tonight, cheering on his beloved Bruins. I'm not sure that he'll be able to see any of it, though. No, not because he's dead. Because he's blind.  Obviously, I am not speaking of the Ray Charles that you are thinking of. I am speaking of Ray Charles, the blind golden retriever...

Patrick Sharp gives post-game interview without pants

After a huge overtime win in Game 4 which included a nice goal and celebration fail, Patrick Sharp gave a post-game interview without any pants.  I guess since they’re only shooting you from the chest up there’s nothing for him to worry about, but it’s still pretty funny to see. [Reddit]

Corey Crawford’s Glove Offers Bruins Opportunity to Get Inside Goalie’s Head Via Early Shot Selection (Video)

Corey Crawford is supposed to have problems stopping the Bruins with his glove. So why does it feel like they haven’t tested him there yet in Game 5? The B’s might be playing mind games with the Blackhawks netminder early, trying to psych him out by refusing to fall into the trap of aiming at his weakness. Instead, they could be trying to make him start over-thinking their shot...

Chicago's playoff secret is Mario Kart

Bryan Bickell has kept a player blog on NHL.com during the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals. On Tuesday, he shared with us the Hawks secret to success. How they won the 2010 Stanley Cup, how they broke the record for longest point streak to start a season (24 games, 2013), and how they have survived to make it all the way to the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals to face the Boston Bruins. Their secret...

Kane leads 'Hawks by B's in Game 5

Patrick Kane and the Chicago Blackhawks have that look again, and another Stanley Cup is within reach. Kane scored two goals, Corey Crawford made 24 saves and the Blackhawks beat the Boston Bruins 3-1 on Saturday night to take a 3-2 lead in the finals. Kane had a terrific postseason when Chicago won it all in 2010, including the winning score in a 4-3 overtime victory in Philadelphia...

Game 6 viewership up 66 percent

The Blackhawks' Stanley Cup-clinching win was watched by almost two-thirds more viewers than last year's Game 6. Chicago's 3-2 victory Monday night over the Bruins had 8.16 million viewers on NBC, up from 4.93 million for the Los Angeles Kings' clincher over the New Jersey Devils last year.
