There’s never a shortage of dumb athlete quotes on a week-by-week basis. As always, we do not discriminate when it comes to which sports the athletes play. With that said, football is pretty good at producing some quality material.

Here are this week’s brainiacs going public….

Yannick Weber of the Montreal Canadiens said,

“If only women paid as much attention to their breast as men do”

I have to give him some credit. This one is for a good cause.

Jordan Jefferson, QB at LSU said,

“I don’t regret anything. God puts people in certain situations for a reason. He’s the only person that can control my destiny. He’s the only person that knows my future. There was judgment from a lot of people. The only person that can judge me in this world is God. I don’t regret any of the pain that I’ve been through. I don’t regret anything that has happened to me. I don’t regret the situation that I have been in. I learned a lot from that situation.”

You’re a f$cking moron dude. God’s judging you and he thinks you’re a failure at life. (Please read the entire article linked to his name. The guy is a bona fide moron)

MNF’s Hank Williams Jr said, when asked about this Summer’s golf summit pairing of President Obama and House Speaker John Boehner,

“It would be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli leader) Benjamin Netanyahu.”

Hank Williams isn’t an athlete but he is the MNF guy. NOT ANYMORE. He’s now the Monday Night F$ckup Guy

Chris Cooley said this when asked about literally beating Tony Romo,

“For me to beat Tony? I’m gonna be honest, I don’t know what kind of cage fighting skills he has. I would probably try to incorporate my wrestling ability, like when I was in high school. Obviously it’s been awhile, but I didn’t like to beat people fast. I like to embarrass ‘em a little bit. Like, take a 24-point lead, and then just play with it a little bit.”

I had to change the title of this post. This one is pretty clever, but still dumb.
