Jess Rubenstein at The Prospect Park reports that Christian Thomas (2010 - 2nd) has 10g, 8a in his last 12 games after scoring 1g, 1a last night during Oshawa's 8-1 win over the Belleville Bulls....Thomas is a talented prospect, who knows how to put the puck in the net. Having said that, I'd be ok with the Rangers moving him to bring in a needed piece at the trade deadline. In other prospect news, Rubenstein says Dylan McIlrath (2010 - 1st) is continuing to play with fire as he was penalized for another hit to the head last night, meanwhile J.T. Miller (2011 - 1st) struggled mightily going scoreless with a -3 during a 5-1 Plymouth loss to Owen Sound. ...i think someone in the Rangers organization (Graves?) needs to pay McIlrath a visit. All these head shots are getting worrisome. Finally, Rubenstein notes that Chris Kreider (2009 - 1st) was held scoreless and only had one shot on goal during #4 BC's 4-2 win over #9 Merrimack. ...wonder if all the trade talk is messin...
