Found May 15, 2013 on Diehardsport:
San Jose Sharks forward TJ Galiardi was going for a line change after a long shift and skated too closely to the Los Angeles Kings bench.  Kings’ Dustin Brown was the first to impede him after Brown was shoved by Galiardi.  Brown tried to put Galiardi into the Kings bench, but when that didn’t work, Brown held his arm until he decided let him free.  Galiardi was careless with his stick and hit Dustin Penner, who was standing in the bench and decided to grab and hold on to said stick.  When Galiardi finally got that free, he ran into the linesman.  Nothing like running a gauntlet to try and get to the bench after a long shift. Raffi Torres Smashes Jarret Stoll With Hit That Has Some People Thinking Suspension (Video)

Raffi Torres levels Jarrett Stoll, faces hearing with Shanahan

San Jose Sharks forward Raffi Torres has a track record of laying down some questionable hits and his hit on Los Angeles Kings forward Jarrett Stoll is his latest one.  At first the hit didn’t seem to be that bad, but upon further review it seems as though Torres initial point of contact is with Stoll’s chin.  Torres received two-minutes for charging on the play and Stoll never...

Quick leads Kings past Sharks 2-0 in opener

The Los Angeles Kings hadn't held a two-goal lead in the entire postseason until Slava Voynov's shot fortunately caromed off Mike Richards' body and into San Jose's net midway through their second-round series opener. A two-goal lead was one more than Jonathan Quick needed against the Sharks. Quick made 35 saves in his sixth career playoff shutout, and the Kings...

Something New For The Kings, Home-Ice Advantage

from Helene Elliott of the LA Times, Looking at the bigger picture, no Kings team has had home-ice advantage since 1992, a span of 16 straight series. Although this will be a new wrinkle for the Kings, they shouldn’t be thrown off-stride. They will take a 10-game home winning streak into Tuesday’s game, including a three-game playoff home win streak. That equals a club...

Round Two: Kings Versus Sharks by   Jack Weber

In more than one way, this is round two between the Kings and the San Jose Sharks. Kings, Sharks prepared for California clash

Drew Doughty doesn't mind acknowledging the Los Angeles Kings would have enjoyed traveling to their next playoff series in a bus instead of a plane. Although the Anaheim Ducks didn't show up for a postseason Freeway Faceoff, the defending Stanley Cup champions still have some awfully short trips in store when they meet the San Jose Sharks for the fourth all-California playoff...

NHL Reporter Awkwardly Congratulates Matthew Perry On His Show’s Cancellation

If you have ever watched a Los Angeles Kings game on Fox Sports West, you know who Dan Moriarty is. Kings game on Friday, Moriarty interviewed Matthew Perry, a Staples Center regular on game nights, to find out his...
