PLAYERS: Tyler Seguin
TEAMS: Dallas Stars
Tyler Seguin has his priorities in order. During his introductory news conference with the Dallas media Tuesday, the former Bruins winger’s very first comment to his new group of scribes wasn’t about hockey, but about his marital status. Seguin, who was known to be a socialite here in The Hub (like many other Boston athletes), sounded frustrated that he was the lone “single guy” in the B’s locker room. “There’s a lot of young guys. On my last team, I was the only single guy. I’m excited to meet new faces and have a new start,” he said. “I’m very excited for the new experience. I’m definitely excited to earn the respect of my new teammates, management, and definitely the fans.” Check out the video below to see how excited the Stars’ new center is about his brand-new social life … and job.

Tyler Seguin Apologizes for Twitter Fiasco, Looks to ‘Earn the Respect of Everyone’ in Dallas (Video)

It’s been a busy few days for Tyler Seguin, and it’s clear that the newly acquired Dallas Stars forward is ready to move on. As part of that process, Seguin met with the Dallas media Tuesday and tried to continue to move on. Seguin was traded to Dallas last Thursday, which was just the start of the craziness for the 21-year-old. Seguin reportedly threw a party that same night...

Stars' Seguin ready to move on from social media fiasco

DALLAS -- Naturally, the hot topic surrounding Tuesday's introductory news conference featuring recently acquired Dallas Stars centers Shawn Horcoff and Tyler Seguin on Tuesday morning at American Airlines Center was Seguin's recent Twitter faux pas where an anti-gay comment was posted to his account Saturday night, only to be quickly deleted. However, the damage was done...

Seguin the Savior: Our Favorite Tyler Seguin Photoshops. Part 3: 2012-2013 Season

Today we finally say goodbye to Tyler Seguin. With the last part of his tribute finishing the saga that is Tyler Seguin, don't expect much of anything regarding him in the future. Like I mentioned on Facebook, we don't care about the partying. Is he a disaster? Sure, but so are many rich young kids. So I guess we will start with one of the more famous photoshops, even if...

Stars' Seguin apologizes again in Dallas intro

Tyler Seguin (SAY'-gin) wants to become the new face of the Dallas Stars. He'll have to wipe a little egg off it first. That process started Tuesday when the dynamic young forward with a penchant for Twitter controversy apologized again for an anti-gay comment that showed up on his account over the weekend. The 21-year-old former No. 2 overall pick also reiterated that...

Modano sees lot to like in Tyler Seguin

DALLAS -- A familiar face was taking in Tuesday morning's press conference at American Airlines Center to introduce Shawn Horcoff and Tyler Seguin as two of the newest members of the Dallas Stars. That individual was none other than Stars franchise icon Mike Modano, who now serves the organization as a special advisor. Of course, the dominant storyline at Tuesday morning'...

Tyler Seguin Introduced in Dallas, Will Wear No. 91 for Stars (Photos)

Tyler Seguin and the Dallas Stars are hoping that a change of scenery benefits the 21-year-old forward, and that change of scenery became an official reality Tuesday as Seguin was introduced as the newest Star. Seguin, along with veteran forward Shawn Horcoff, was formally introduced to Stars fans and Dallas media at a news conference in Texas, the first look at Seguin in one of...

Cam Neely Admits Tyler Seguin’s On- and Off-Ice Performance Both Contributed to Trade Decision

Tyler Seguin‘s problems in Boston extended beyond the rink. His issues ranged farther than just his lack of production this season (particularly in the playoffs) as well as a seeming unwillingness to play a heavier, stronger game. You don’t trade a No. 2 overall pick three years after you drafted him just because of that. We assumed all along that there was much more to it than...

Tyler Seguin quits Twitter because of evil hackers

Tyler Seguin was traded from the Boston Bruins to the Dallas Stars in a July 4th blockbuster. The deal, one which many believe was made because Boston was fed up with Seguin's partying and lack of commitment, was supposed to give the 21-year-old a fresh start and an opportunity to leave his critics behind.  So much for that. Not even a week into his time with the Dallas...

Big year looming for Stars prospect Faksa

FRISCO, Texas -- At this time one year ago, Radek Faksa was going through his first development camp as a member of the Dallas Stars organization. The young center from the Czech Republic had gone 13th overall in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft and was set to begin his professional career. Faksa, 19, spent most of last season with Kitchener of the Ontario Hockey League and despite a knee...

Claude Julien Says There ‘Was No Issue’ With Tyler Seguin, Says They Had a Good Relationship

Tyler Seguin isn’t your average 21-year-old but he took his job “as serious as any 21-year-old would,” according to Bruins head coach Claude Julien.  Julien spoke to the media Thursday and answered questions about the recently deported Seguin, who was traded to the Dallas Stars late last week. Rumors have surfaced that the deal was made because the organization had enough...

'Anniversary Mode' marks return of 'NHL 94'

A.B. The 8-year old kid in me just ran upstairs, put on his Pavel Bure jersey & windpants, blew on the Sega cartridge and prepared for an assault of endless wrap-around goals on the competition. The 29-year old version of me just took out his credit card and pre-ordered NHL 14. It sucks that you can’t make Wayne Gretzky’s head bleed, according to Kotaku, but at least Gretzky...

A Quick Look At The Newest Bruin: Matt Fraser

Yesterday we talked about Reilly Smith, who was one of four Stars included in the trade on July 4th for Rich Peverley and Tyler Seguin. Today we'll look at Matt Fraser, a guy many believe will challenge Jordan Caron, Ryan Spooner and maybe Reilly Smith for that 3rd line winger spot. So let's take a look at what Hockey's Future has to say about him: Fraser is one tough...
