Found December 06, 2011 on Section 303:
The National Hockey League has suspended Nashville Predators forward Jordin Tootoo two games for his hit on Buffalo Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller. The incident took place during Buffalo’s 3-2 win on Saturday night inside Bridgestone Arena. The maximum suspension Tootoo could’ve received was five games, per league rules. If a player facing disciplinary action has a hearing with the league via phone, the maximum sentence in five games. If a player is summoned to the NHL offices, the sky’s the limit. The NHL’s head disciplinarian Brendan Shanahan announced the ruling this afternoon. Shanahan’s official video explanation is below. I originally said he’d get five games. Some Preds fans thought he shouldn’t get anything at all. So, is a two game suspension just? Is it excessive? Is it not enough? Tell us in the comment section below. — PHOTO CREDIT: Leanne Charles // special to (used with permission)

Jordin Tootoo runs over Ryan Miller.

First off I have no idea what Jordin Tootoo is trying to do in this instance, compare and contrast this with the Lucic incident, Miller is in the blue paint and Lucic ran into Miller going for a puck. In Tootoo's case he simply left his feet and ran over Miller, you can not just run over the the goalie like Tootoo did. I think Jordin Tootoo is going to be getting a suspension...

NHL suspends Jordin Tootoo two games for Ryan Miller collision

After Nashville Predators forward Jordin Tootoo charged into Ryan Miller on Saturday night, Buffalo Sabres Head Coach Lindy Ruff opined after the game that he believed it was "open season" on goaltenders. (Keep in mind that Tootoo was given a five-minute major for charging and a game misconduct on Saturday.) Here was his team's No. 1 netminder getting run into again...
