Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Cam Ward doesn't think Boston Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara is a big man following his latest actions. Ward took issue with Chara coming to the defense of teammate Nathan Horton during the second period of Carolina's 4-1 triumph over Boston on Tuesday. "The guy's 8 feet tall and he's jumping a player," Ward said after Chara aggressively challenged Hurricanes defenseman Jay Harrison. "That doesn't translate as being very tough in my eyes." Chara, who is actually 6-foot-9 - not 8 feet tall, is the biggest man to ever lace up the skates in the NHL. Boston goaltender Tuukka Rask didn't like Ward's antics and skated toward the Hurricanes netminder. "I didn't take it as a serious threat," Ward said of Rask. "My heart rate didn't get up or anything ... I'm not gonna waste my time with Tuukka Rask.
