My second full day in Vegas was chock full of plannage. I was meeting one of my Vegas tweeps, I was going to get new sneakers at the Liberace museum and I still had to have a talking to with one Erik Seidel.But I hadn't played any poker in like 24 hours and THAT was unacceptable, so...I went down to the Harrah's poker room. There was one table going and there was a list. I told the guy to put my name on the list, while I very prominently flashed my Diamond card. Like, rubbing it on my cheek and under my chin, prominently! But he still did not offer to put me at the top of the list! RUDE.Nuts to this, I shuffled off to the IP. I took a seat at the 1/2 game immediately.It was disasterous. The thing with waking up to play poker at 6 is that you run into all the people still stuck from the night before. Everyone was straddling and button straddling and raising insane amounts. I adjusted quickly, but I had already lost 20% of my stack AND I was card dead.I should have just gotten...
