Benitez plots move for Manchester United and Chelsea target - originally posted on Soccerlens.comNapoli boss Rafael Benitez is targeting to land Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno, who is also a target of Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid, in the January transfer window. The 21-year-old Moreno, after graduating from Sevilla’s youth academy, started his senior career in 2012 for his hometown club and has made 31 appearances so far, scoring two goals already. In November, The Mirror reported that Manchester United were plotting a move to land the highly-rated youngster in January, as manager David Moyes wants to secure a long-term replacement for 32-year-old Patrice Evra. The United manager has tried to bring left-back Leighton Baines from Everton to Manchester United in the summer, but has been unsuccessful so far in his attempts to lure him from Goodison Park.
