Kenny Dalglish is confident Luis Suarez has "learned something" during his recent absence and expects Liverpool to be stronger with the striker back from suspension. Suarez has completed an eight-match ban after being found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra, while he also served a one-game suspension following a gesture made towards Fulham fans. Liverpool have reached the Carling Cup final and FA Cup fifth round without Suarez, but have stuttered in the Premier League without the Uruguayan's contribution. The forward returns to the Reds squad for Monday's game against title hopefuls Tottenham Hotspur and Dalglish is happy to welcome back Suarez. Dalglish does not want to discuss the reasons for Suarez's absence again, but the Liverpool boss feels the 25-year-old has learned from being on the sidelines. "I think he has learned something over the time he's been out," said Dalglish. "I think you learn something every time you go to your bed, whether it's good, bad or indifferent is open to conjecture. "We are just glad to get him back, so we are not going to go over old ground. "It's amazing how now he's coming back we are talking about something that's not related to his abilities or the goals he's scored, but we want to concentrate on that now. "For us, we are much stronger as a squad of players and a football club with Luis on our side - back fit and well and ready to play - and he is fit and he'll want to play, won't he? But he's learned something, I'm sure."
