Majeed Waris has been crowned the Swedish best player of the season

Black Stars striker Abdul Majeed Waris was crowned the Swedish Allsvenskan best player of the season on Monday.
The 21-year-old beat team-mate Martin Ericsson, Malmo FF’s Pontus Jansson and Anders Svensson of IF Elfsborg to the award.
Waris won the golden shoe award after emerging top scorer of the Allsvenskan with 23 goals from 29 games.
He also finished third in the Swedish Footballer of the Year prize which was won by Johan Elmander with Zlatan Ibrahimovic finishing season.
In May he became the first player to score five goals in a single game in the Swedish top flight and also bagged four braces and a hat-trick and also became the first player to win the goal king crown with more than 21 goals since the 2002 season.
With Waris away on international duty with the Black Stars in Portugal, BK Hacken captain Mohammed Ali Khan took the award on his behalf.
