Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho gave an interview to Italian television to mark his 50th birthday, making controversial declarations as always. “I will win another Champions [UEFA Champions League],” he said. “The third one will come. I can’t say I will obtain it this season, but in the fifteen or twenty years I have left in my coaching career, I will win it.” Mourinho did not want to comment on Pep Guadriola’s move to Germany to coach Bayern Munich, however he said he would not coach in Germany. “No comment, it’s his choice. What is certain is that I will not coach in Germany.” The “Special One” also talked about Real Madrid’s Champions League matches against Manchester United. “This is the third time I face United in the second round, in the first one, I won with Porto, in the second one, I lost with Inter,” he said. Mourinho recalled with nostalgia his time in Italy. “The Champions League with Inter was the most beautiful title,” he continued. “Also important were the league with Real Madrid against Barcelona, winning the Champions League with Porto, and the League with Chelsea who were 50 years without winning it. But the meaning for the Inter family, with people like the president, [Javier] Zanetti and [Ivan] Cordoba and its fans, it was an unspeakable dream. It was beautiful to give a little help for such happiness.” Mourinho finished reaffirming the words of Pepe when he referred to the hardness of a Portuguese living in Spain. “Yes, it’s hard,” he said.
