As speculations that Luis Suarez will leave Anfield this summer start to heat up more and more, the Reds have already started to look for his possible successor. This time the Reds have set their sights on a player who has just played a wonderful season for the Barcelona “B” team. His name is Luis Alberto; This Sevilla owned player, has opened many eyes in Europe after this year.   The 20-year-old striker officially played 38 matches scoring 11 goals; Numbers that have attracted Liverpool. The Premier League team is reportedly willing to open the checkbook and sign a check worth around €8-10M for the player after Liverpool’s first bid of  €6M was declined by the Spanish team.   “I would have liked to stay at Barcelona, who wouldn’t?” said Alberto. “But it was very difficult, almost impossible. I’ll take the year and hope fans have enjoyed me.” Both teams have already been talking for weeks and a deal for the player is inching closer and closer. Luis Alberto has stated that he is happy at Sevilla but he would also like to test the leagues abroad.   Should Luis Alberto sign for the Reds he will be joining former La Liga player Iago Aspas who also transferred to Liverpool earlier this transfer window.   The 20-year-old has been described as a striker/winger who also possessed dribbling and passing skills like Barcelona stars Iniesta and Xavi.   The Spanish player might join the likes of Sturridge, Coutinho, Gerrard, and others as Brendan Rodgers team will try to make a push for the Premier League one more time.
