Javier Hernandez against Chelsea, Mike Hewitt/Getty Images Europe) Super sub extraordinaire Javier Hernandez is obligated to outperform idols, as it is the only method of moving up in the pecking order at Manchester United. Veteran strikers Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie have proven to be stiff competition. Being a top marksmen means benching tremendous talent. But if there was ever a more determined striker to do so, it would be the “Little Pea”.  He has proven in the past that goal’s can out shine flair.  Producing magic with limited playing time is nothing new to Hernandez. Once he starts producing game winners United manager David Moyes will have no choice but to take Hernandez into better consideration.  That is until he gets more minutes on the pitch. Hernandez remained a spectator for the Manchester derby as United fell 4-1 to City. Hernandez was left twitching for a go at the Etihad stadium but was left unused. Hernadez’s ability produce should not be squandered. With such a long season left to go it would be wise for Moyes to rotate his strikers. Doing this will keep his strike options fresh. Still yet to get his first start this season Hernandez is aching for minutes. It seems not to long ago that Hernandez arrived in the Premier League with a splash. In the blink of an eye he migrated from Guadalajara to Manchester, and in a spectacular first season scored 20 goals in all competitions. Hernandez was a revelation. The go-to striker Sir Alex Ferguson counted on to change games. No one could have foreseen Hernandez making such a quick impact at United. His impact was so great that it even benched big name players like Dimitar Berbatov and Rooney on several occasions.  His work ethic has pushed him past big names before there is no question it can do so again. Sure, he can not replicate the skill of the Dutchman Van Persie or of the baby face assassin but he can definitely outscore them.  Twenty tap-ins count just as much as 20 from outside the box.  Football is about results.  And Hernandez always seems to produce, whether it’s with his face, the back of his head, or lying on the ground. Rest assured the Little Pea will without a doubt step on the heels of idols once he finds his rhythm. Moyes will most certainly welcome it.
