Found December 27, 2012 on Holdout Sports:
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson lost his gum while screaming at a linesman during the second half of Wednesday's 4-3 victory over Newcastle. Ferguson was venting at linesman Jake Collin about an offsides penalty that he called on Newcastle that was overruled by head referee Mike Dean, allowing an own goal by Man U defenseman Jonny Evans to stand in the first half of the game. Not only did Ferguson continue with his rant unphased, but more importantly, Ferguson did not pick up the gum and put it back in his mouth, unlike a certain American college basketball coach.
