A soccer player in Switzerland could be in a lot of trouble after slapping a ball boy on the sideline after a match Tuesday night. After Sion lost its match to Lausanne 1-0, Sion defensive midfielder Geoffrey Serey Die had some choice words for a ball boy, then slapped him in the face.

(DISCLAIMER: Holdout Sports does not condone this type of behavior.)

Apparently Die thought the ball boy was too slow in doing his duties, but his reaction was completely inappropriate. The Swiss football association is reviewing the incident, and hopefully the punishment will send a strong message that this behavior can not be tolerated.

H/T 101 Great Goals.
