As it appears that the chances of Fabregas joining Manchester United are becoming slimmer by the day United have now been linked with a move to secure the services of Everton center-midfielder Marouane Fellaini. Goal.com is reporting that David Moyes who left Everton this summer to manage United is thinking about making a swoop for the tall Belgian midfielder. Moyes needs to fill the gap in the center of the field created by the retirement of long-time center-mid Paul Scholes who came out of retirement last year to help Sir Alex Ferguson solve the same issue. But with Scholes now retired for good the Red Devils will have to activate Fellaini’s reported £22 million release clause. He currently makes £75000 a week in wages something United may look to increase in order to lure the player away from Goodison Park. According to Goal.com Fellaini was seen at Rio Ferdinand’s restaurant Rosso in Manchester over the weekend and has been reported to be open to a move to play with former manager at Old Trafford. “I only want to go to a club where the manager really wants me. In 2008 Everton did everything to convince me especially David Moyes. He made me the player I am now” Fellaini said according to Goal.com.
