While the United States men’s soccer team prepares to go over to London for the 2012 Olym…oh, wait, they didn’t qualify.  As the premier United States men’s soccer forward Landon Donovan potentially prepares to return to England to play in the English Premier League, his realtor will be working the field to sell Donovan’s compound in Manhattan Beach, California.

Donovan, who currently plays for the L.A. Galaxy in the MLS is currently thought to be sought after by Everton permanently after being loaned to the England squad twice recently.

Anyhow, his home (which contains two houses), which appeared on MTV’s “Cribs” way back when, has been on the market for a $4.295 million and the sale just became pending.  Our friends at Trulia clued us in as though we might be interested.  L.A. might be nice, but Metro Detroit is where it’s at, people.

The main house has six baths, five beds, is on the ocean south of Los Angeles.  Trulia says it has a “groin vault” (maybe Donovan needs it) and a “huge center-island gourmet’s Kitchen & an outdoor Dining Rm. Spacious Butler’s Pantry w/wet bar and Viking Wine refer”.  The second/play house features a pool, spa and home gym, massage room, sauna, steambath, cold plunge or jacuzzi, home theatre and a 300 bottle wine cellar.  The upper level is the “night club” and guest suite.

Yeah, it isn’t bad.  Here are pics:
