In honor of the Euro Cup, this week’s Video of the Week will be about soccer. Now I normally don’t watch t many soccer highlights, but after a little bit of research, I’ve discovered “Joga TV’ is the equivalent to an NBA “Hoops Mixtape.” So if you want to check out some crazy soccer videos, Joga TV is the way to go.

One thing I will be waiting for is an American soccer player to be able to compete with the likes of Ibrahimovic or Ronaldo. America definitely has the best facilities and can buy the best coaches, yet the US continues to be mediocre.

However, soccer has become more and more popular as of late. FIFA has become the most popular game in colleges across America, and rising stars like Clint Demspey and Jozy Altidore have more American kids playing the game more competitively and at a younger age.

So until America becomes the powerhouse it is in every other cool sport, we will just have to enjoy the European and South American superstars. Look out for the beasts like Ronaldo, Rooney, Ribery, and just about everyone on Spain to step their game up to take home the Euro Cup.
