2015-16 Fantasy Basketball: Just Add Minutes, Part I

Rodney Hood The Fantasy Fix’s Zack Rewis has already mentioned this guy (multiple times I might add, jeez get a room Zack), but I’m going to bat him lead-off for this column (wait I wrote about him for the Fixies too…oh well). Hood showed what he was capable of during the 2014 Summer League and he was more than ready to one-up himself this year’s Summer League. It only took...

Utah's Internal Improvement

With July ending, the NBA free agency period is about over. While there are still a few notable names on the market, most teams have filled out their rosters for the upcoming season after giving out well over $2 billion combined in total contracts. The question is how much all that activity has really shifted the balance of power in the league. Because of the way the CBA sets things...

Yes, Jim Nantz once worked as a Utah Jazz analyst alongside Hot Rod Hundley

At AA we love finding classic clips that show something unique from the rich history of sports broadcasting.  So we were amazed when Classic TV Sports unearthed this rare footage of Jim Nantz working a game as a basketball analyst, and not a play by play man. One of Nantz’s early stops before joining CBS Sports was in Salt Lake City.  Before he became the play by play man for...

Who should start at shooting guard for the Utah Jazz?

As I wrote last week, the Utah Jazz still have some tough decisions to make in regards to finalizing their roster and deciding which of their non-guaranteed players will receive an official spot on the team. In contrast to the final roster spots, however, their starting lineup is nearly all set. The Jazz had a phenomenal finish last season and have been very quiet in free agency...

Jazz Working On Changes To Primary Logo

The Utah Jazz are working on making changes to their logo this offseason or next. The change wouldn't take effect until the 16-17 season at the earliest. They are looking to make the Jazz note logo their primary logo and introducing a new secondary logo. The current Jazz note wordmark doesn't have "Utah" anywhere in it. The NBA requires the full team name to appear in each team's primary logo.

The result was that fans didn't get much of a chance to see how Exum would look against inferior competition...

What Raul Neto and Tibor Pleiss mean for the Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz have had a quiet offseason.  A year in which $1.4 billion was handed out to players on the very first day of free agency and DeAndre Jordan was flip flopping back and forth between playing for the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers, it is rather surprising to see that the Jazz really haven’t done too much.  However, just because the Jazz have been under...
