France’s Marion Bartoli and Richard Gasquet have beaten Australia’s Jarmila Gajdosova and Lleyton Hewitt at Session 6 of Hyundai Hopman Cup XXIV in both singles matches to claim the Tie at Perth’s Burswood Dome Tuesday night.   The world No. 9 Bartoli got the French off to a blistering start with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Gajdosova in 52 minutes setting up Gasquet to try and beat Hewitt for the first time in his career.   The world No. 19 Frenchman got off to a terrific start winning the first set, but Hewitt took the second and then it was Gasquet who regrouped to win the third and take the match, 6-2, 5-7, 6-1.   That win ensured that France won the Tie and it was on the back of their 2-1 victory over China’s Li Na and Wu Di on Saturday.   Both France and Spain’s Anabel Medina Garrigues and Fernando Verdasco  have won their opening two Ties of the Hyundai Hopman Cup meaning that Thursday’s battle between the second and third seeds will decide which of them makes the Final out of Group B...
