Tennis pro Maria Sharapova is chasing the No. 1 ranking in the world at the Madrid Open, but this photo shoot for Esquire Mexico shows off a different side to the four-time Grand Slam winner.
“I don’t want to think about it (the No 1 ranking) too much,” Sharapova said. “It depends also on the other players. I can (only) control what is in my hands and try not to worry about it too much.”
