Roger Federer may not be the current world number one, but he is at the top of the heap for endorsement money. The Swiss tennis star currently makes more than fifty million dollars a year endorsing a diverse group of products from Nike, Mercedes, Lindt, Gillette, Wilson, Jura, Credit Suisse, and Rolex.
Federer recently announced that he will be adding considerably to his endorsement account as he has just inked a deal to be a brand ambassador for champagne.
The Swiss tennis icon has signed a five year deal to become the global face of France’s Moet & Chandon. He will be paid $30 million to appear on the champagne’s advertising campaigns and appear special events, CelebrityNetWorth.com notes.
