Andy Murray lost to Roger Federer in the Wimbledon championship Sunday, but he did so in gracious and heart-warming fashion. During Murray’s post match interview in front of Centre Court, Murray won the hearts of all those present, and most likely anyone who heard his emotional words. Murray was even brought to tears following a BBC interviewer asking him about the emotions...
Federer’s Keys to Victory:
1. Serve well- For Federer, it might not all end with the serve, but it definitely all starts with it. It might not be the biggest, but Federer still has one of the best serves on tour. Even a great returner like Djokovic couldn’t do much against Federer’s serve when it was on in the semifinals. Federer is not a player who will win a match by relying...
WIMBLEDON, England -- Roger Federer won his record-tying seventh Wimbledon title Sunday, beating Andy Murray 4-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4 under a closed roof on Centre Court. The 17-time Grand Slam champion excelled once the roof was closed early in the third set, giving Murray little chance to end Britain's 76-year wait for a homegrown men's champion. Federer is now 17-7 in Grand...
Another win at Wimbledon would put Roger Federer back on top of the tennis world with the No. 1 ranking once again. But his opponent, Andy Murray has the weight of a nation on his shoulders as he has his chance to become the first British man to win the men's singles title at Wimbledon since Fred Perry in 1936. Since bringing on Ivan Lendl as coach earlier this year, Murray plays...

Roger Federer’s best opportunity to win a Grand Slam was at Wimbledon 2012 after Rafael Nadal was eliminated on the other side of the bracket. No Nadal, grass is his playground and Djokovic’s best surface is hard court, not grass even though he’s good there too. This was Federer’s prime opportunity to win a Grand [...]

Jo Wilfried Tsonga took a pretty hard shot from Andy Murray directly to his man bits during their match at Wimbledon on Friday. The only thing that made this video better was the fan who yelled “New Balls, Please” after it happened. Poor guy.

Roger Federer isn’t finished yet. The six-time Wimbledon champ took out defending champ Novak Djokovic to get to his record 8th final at Wimbledon with the chance to tie Pete Sampras and his seven titles.
Tickets to the Wimbledon Men’s final have become an even hotter commodity now that Andy Murray has advanced to his first final at the All England Club. Murray beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in four sets on Friday to advance to Sunday’s final. The Scotsman has a chance to become the first U.K. player to win Wimbledon since 1938, and fans are dying to be there to see it happen.
Jo Wilfried-Tsonga took a forehand to the groin from England's Andy Murray during Friday's Wimbledon men's semifinal tennis match.
Tsonga got cheers from the crowd as he fought through the pain, and he was able to recover and close out the third set. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to get past Murray, who won the match in four sets.

Eh...you never want this to happen at a major sporting event in front of thousands in person and millions on TV.
