Usually, when we have a Lolo Jones post, it has to do with something foolishly said by the Olympic athlete. This isn’t one of those times, depending on how you look at it. A couple of weeks back, a journalism student at Georgia State convinced Lolo to go on a date with him if he managed to get 150,000 retweets. Well, he got it: If I get 150,000 RTs @lolojones will let me take her on a date! Help me out! — Bubby Lyles (@harrylylesjr) June 20, 2013 Jones was informed at her last track meet for the summer that he was closing in on the number and she agreed to follow through on the deal (about 3:18 into the video). Once Jones has her date with Bubbly Lyles, she will focus her training on the Sochi Olympics, where she is scheduled to compete on the bobsled team. At about the three minute mark of the below video Jones accepts the request. Jones then wonders who will pay for the date. @harrylylesjr 2x Olympic champ @elsupersanchez ran down to the dining hall and told...

Lolo Jones has to go on a date with a random Twitter fan

Twitter strikes again! Or, should I say, begging for retweets succeeds again (or, for the first time). A journalism student at Georgia State got Lolo Jones to agree to a date with him if he could get 150K retweets. If I get 150,000 RTs @lolojones will let me take her on a date! Help me out! — Bubby Lyles (@harrylylesjr) June 20, 2013 ...
