Roderick Strong, the current ROH World TV Champion, and only the 2nd Triple Crown winner in ROH history, took advantage of distractions provided by both Maria & Brutal Bob, ones obviously intended to benefit Mike Bennett, and used them to pin Adam Cole and claim an ROH World Title shot on Saturday June 30th in Pittsburgh. The only question now is just who will Strong face.  The current ROH World Champion as we all know is Kevin Steen but he will be defending that belt against another former champion, “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards, on June 15th in Charleston, WV. Then, before we even get to the Steel City, there is “Best in the World 2012” in NYC scheduled for June 24th which will certainly feature a World Title challenge as well. So the possibilities of who Roderick could face at the Rostraver Arena are still quite numerous… “Bro I don’t really give a damn who I end up wrestling in Pittsburgh.” Said Roderick to ROHWrestling.com, “If it’s Kevin or Eddie or some other schmuck I can quite confidently tell you that it won’t matter one bit. I am without a doubt the most physically fit man in Ring of Honor, the current TV champion, the best Triple Crown winner in ROH history, a Survival of the Fittest winner, I’ve pretty much done it all in ROH…including beaten the hell out of both Kevin and Eddie and anyone else that might face me on the 30th. The only thing I haven’t done, the only thing no one in ROH history has done, is hold two belts at once.  I think I need to be the first guy to pull off that feat…” Whomever he may face, it seems Roderick Strong is eternally confident at his chances to become a 2-Time ROH World Champion in Pittsburgh.  Can he pull it off?  And just who will be the World Champion come June 30th?  Be there live and find out for yourself!!!
